About the Role

The Playbook team is looking for a Director of Marketing to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for a fast-growing SaaS company. The Director of Marketing should have experience in growing brand awareness, product education, improving customer acquisition, budget management, and building an all-star marketing team.


Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and oversight to a high-performance global Marketing organization that is able to consistently achieve aggressive growth goals.
  • Developing the Playbook brand that builds brand equity and helps achieve the organization’s goals for growth.
  • Build brand awareness through media channels, events, and marketing tactics.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Function as a spokesperson and public-facing representative for Playbook in webinars, media requests, analyst meetings, events, and other opportunities
  • Drive awareness, preference, and demand for the Playbook software services.
  • Prioritize and manage marketing budgets.
  • Work to define a clear customer brand, to define our ongoing path to growth by shaping our image in the marketplace.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Competencies
  • Proven results in direct and digital marketing, database analytics, Internet and e-commerce, CRM, and new media.
  • Experience establishing and managing a complex budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to setting and achieving the highest standards of performance for the team.
  • Experience in building, executing, and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles of increasing responsibility and seniority in the consumer goods industry
